Description 1960s Moskvich 407 with movie provenance

1960s Moskvich 407 - Rare Eastern European classic car
Reluctantly i must sell my Moskvich 407. I have owned the car for 1 year. It is in quite good condition having only has a small amount of welding and only requires a small amount more. It is a very solid car. The paintwork is not too good however looks in keeping with the styling of the car. It's close to its original colour but without the white. It is all complete except for 2 hub caps which are missing. Everything else works i.e. wipers, indicators, horn, gauges etc. It drives and stops. The seats generally for a car of this age are good. It has a jack and tools in the boot plus comes with 4 brand new michelin tyres and a very old original first aid kit. It also has a factory fitted stereo however this doesn't work. There are a number of sources of parts such as http://en.avtoclassika.com/car/moskvich-407/, http://www.1958parts.co.uk/Moskvich/ and eBay.de.
This car featured in the fourth coming move 'Man from Uncle' and also comes complete with a page of the script which was found in the car.
It will be the responsibility of the new owner to register the car in the UK.

1960s Moskvich 407 Classic Car With Movie Provenance
Please see my nearly famous Russian communist era Moskvich car. There's more information about Moskvichs here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moskvitch_402. This car has been widely used in the recent filmed "Man From UNCLE" movie and many of the pictures on this ad were taken on location (see below). The car was imported from Bulgaria a couple of years ago specifically for the movie. It drives well and looks to be in good cosmetic condition; it has had a re-spray. The car would benefit from a good mechanical overhaul to see it good for the next decade or two. The interior is shabby and the dashboard has "Moskvich disease", which is where the switches deteriorate because they are made of inferior materials (is was 1960s USSR after all) so this needs looking at as well.
These cars are rare and appreciating in value. This one comes without paperwork or VIN plate also the number is stamped on the car.
