Description 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 4 Dr Turbodiesel

Great all around body condition.  Never had any accidents as far as I know.  No major dents.  The car has taken many trips back and fourth from NY to FL for years.
SEE PIC OF NEW TIRES ALL AROUND:<P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo17_zpspakofljr.jpg"/></a><P>
It is an incredible ride on the highway smooth as glass at 70-85mph.
Runs like a top and does not want to quit. <P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo12_zpsogs8xhy9.jpg"/></a><P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo13_zps6kabsdod.jpg"/></a><P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo11_zpsrfupti6e.jpg"/></a><P>
In fact that is part of the problem. It has a small vacuume leak in the vacuume system and when you turn the key off, you have to press the accelerator pedal down slightly to get it to turn off.  Otherwise you could manually pump a vacuume pressure tester that I hooked up to the system. See pic of interior: <P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo14_zpsimkgmr8q.jpg"/></a><P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo15_zpsnsnbnspa.jpg"/></a><P>The third way is to pop the hood and press the shutoff lever.
Other than that, no problems however power breaks take some time to build up pressure due to the small vacuume leak in the system.
Online it recommends to replace all the small hoses in the engine compartment to remedy the vacuume pressure problem.  I have not done this.
The motor is a newer, lower-mileage motor installed only about 10k miles ago.<P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo05_zpsm7sfomho.jpg"/></a><P>
Turbo spools nicely and has plenty of power, All glass is tinted so the car looks nice and makes the car look like the driver has "Old Money" Power windows, Power seats etc..
Pic of new radiator:<P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo06_zpshyqwhqop.jpg"/></a><P>Notice the turbo under the air cleaner:<a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo07_zpstcbczg0q.jpg"/></a><P>New Battery:<P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo08_zpseuywyhpl.jpg"/></a><P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo20_zpsuy3kot9i.jpg"/></a><P>
Hood and trunk are factory Aluminum which lightens the car quite a bit. <P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo24_zpsorbadc9n.jpg"/></a><P>
These cars are becoming increasingly sought after because of the 30 miles to the gallon in a full sized car.  Also as many people may know, not only do these cars just keep going, you can easily find filtration kits and run it off of waste cooking oil from fast food friers and drive for free.  By the way, it does leak a few drops of oil from the connecting hose to the oil cooler.<P><a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo23_zpskct56ktk.jpg"/></a>
<P>Right side mirror is a cut and stick replacement kind.<a href="http://s803.photobucket.com/user/75pastapowr/media/300sd/d%20benz%20turb..." target="_blank"><img src="http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy316/75pastapowr/300sd/d%20benz%20tu..." border="0" alt=" photo d benz turbo22_zpsdpay7t8z.jpg"/></a><P>
Any questions, please ask. Dark tint all the way around.  Professionally done and keeps things cooler inside.  If you are buying out of state and requirements are different, I can remove it free of charge. I will work with you through wire transfers and shipping.  All I ask if you have low feedback or none, talk to me beforehand.  This car is one of the few that you will appreciate more in person.  It looks great all around.  If you get the vacuume leak fixed, possibly in the break booster which I was quoted $300 for, you could have a very nice daily driver. Do not hesitate to question me with any questions or concerns you have before end of auction.
Thanks!
