Description Audi UR quattro (WR) 1987 in white with grey leather and green digital dash

She's finished in
Bentley Ghost White (previous owner was a Bentley mastertech!) with
grey leather interior. Remote central locking, heated seats (not
hooked up), green digital dash, matching premium tyres all round.
This car is fairly
unique as she underwent some major dialynx tuning which resulted in
her nudging 300bhp. The work included:
Hybrid turbo upgrade;
Polished and ported head;
Dialynx exhaust manifold;
Dialynx ECU and tuning;
Upgraded front calipers;
Remote central locking;
Sport quattro bonnet (fibreglass).
When I bought the car
she was in need of some love and over the last nearly six years I've
worked through all major mechanical parts and either repaired or
replaced every oily bit of the car. The following list is not
exhaustive but does include the most significant bits of work
performed:
Full top end engine rebuild just 300 miles ago (Jan 2014);
Exhaust manifold skimmed (Dialynx manifolds are known to warp early in their life so this ensured a good straight fit – Jan 2014);
Fully reconditioned Garrett hybrid turbo (Jan 2014);
Full stainless exhaust fitted in (May 2012);
Powerflex polybushed throughout (2012)
Digital dash rebuild (Sep 2009);
Goodrich brake hoses & all brake lines renewed (2012)
New fuel lines (2012)
New shocks & springs (2012)
New brake discs & pads (2012)
Silicone hoses for air intake (2014)
Fully waxoiled (the modern equivalent I can't think of the product name - 2014)
I've replaced and had
done far more than the above but they're the pull out bits of work.
The car, as you would
expect given the list above, drives fine however there's still some
fine tuning to do as the engine continues to bed in.
So, that's the good
stuff. As always for a near 30 year old car there are bad points
about this car and it can be summed up with one word. Bodywork. Critical areas like the sills, A-pillar, sunroof etc are all solid
and passed through the last MOT in May 2014 without issue. There are
small bits of rust in the normal places: arches, bottom of a pillar
and a small bit by the sunroof (not in the mechanism only on the
surface) but all are still surface rust and haven't progressed in the
time I've had the car as it's always dry stored and used only on dry
days - on the arches I've taken the rust back to the base metal and it's good solid metal work which can be seen.  Aside from that the previous owner removed the rear firewall
and replaced with a support strut. I have a firewall to reinstall
and have had a quote of about £150 to refit. The interior is all
installed but could do with being fitted again for a cleaner fit (I
was waiting to get the firewall in before doing this). Final bit is
OSF headlight and fog light. The headlight is all on and working but
it's fitted at a slight angle which you can see in the picture –
just need to play around with the silicone intake hose behind it to
get it to fit properly and the fog light glass is smashed but I have
a brand new OEM in original box replacement which I'm including with
the car.
I also have literally a
garage full of spares from a complete set of headlights, replacement
ECU's, clutch cylinders, VAG tools etc etc etc. Happy to sell with
the car in bulk at an additional cost. Alternatively I'm happy to
sell to other UR owners the bits they need.
I been detailed and
honest about this car. It's not perfect by any means but definitely
has the capability to be an outstanding car with the cosmetics
sorted. It Will be missed.
Please let me know if
you have any questions or offers.
Payment is to be by bank transfer or cash only.
Thanks for looking
