Description 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

Show Quality 1972 Chevelle SS
Celebrity Build Presents Beautiful
Hello All.

For sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This
vehicle is very special! It has had a very recent custom restoration
for a professional basketball player. It has only 1200 miles since the
build. Every square inch of this car has been rebuild or replaced with
modern upgrades.

To start with. The paint and body work done on this
car is impeccable! $25,000 just for the paint and body work was spent!
The body modifications include shaved door handles and keyholes, as
well as a cowl induction hood. The finish on this car is immaculate. It
was sprayed with PPG base coat/clear coat in jet black with factory
style stripes in a beautiful medium silver. After the paint was wet
sanded and buffed to perfection and a 120 day full natural cure then a
3M Clear bra protectant vinyl was applied over the entire car. Which
not only protects the flawless paint job on this beauty, but gives the
car an impeccable finish and shine that is normally extremely hard to
maintain on a black car. But no hand polishing and show car glazing
before your favorite car show. Just a bit of spray detailer and a good
wipe down. Also keeping those nasty swirl marks from coming back time
after time.

The power plant in this beast is amazing!!! Powered
by a 4 bolt main 383 stroker with all the goodies. Starting with a
Forged steel crankshaft, steel H beam rods, and forged pistons with
coated skirts. The valve train is just as good as the rest. A Comp
roller camshaft and lifters push the Crower roller rockers, and Manley
valve springs to open polished stainless steel valves in a set of CNC
ported Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads. The induction system is an
Accell multiport electronic fuel injection system and the MSD
distributor and box are controlled by the Accell Gen 7 ECM allowing for
infinite tuning capabilities for the Vortech V-1 supercharger. It is
running a full return fuel system, pressurized by an Aeromotive fuel
pump capable of over 1000hp. It has been recently Dyno’d at 4 PSI of
boost. ( capable of 12 psi depending on pulley size) Dyno sheet is
available. The car makes at the wheels, 585 hp and 645 ft. lbs of
torque!! Definite rocket ship!!! The motor is connected to a full built
“Monster” brand 700r4 transmission capable of withstanding 1000hp. The
Rear end is a GM 12 bolt with 4.56 gears and a post trac unit. With the
overdrive trans and gear combo, it cruises on the freeway at 75mph at
around 2250 rpm. With that said, it gets off the line quickly but still
has the ability to cruz on the highway at 18 mpg.

The suspension on the car is all aftermarket.
Including the 4 wheel Baer disc brakes with vented and drilled rotors
and stainless steel brake hoses. All new dual diaphragm brake booster
and corvette master cylinder is used along with an electronically
controlled vacuum pump, to help assist the braking. Due to the extreme
power of the motor. The rear consists of aftermarket boxed 4 link
control arms and Hotchkis sway bar. As for the front an entire Hotchkis
tubular control arm set up with polyurethane bushings and a 1 1/8”
tubular sway bar, hiem style end links and tierod ends was used. A new
AGR quick steer power steering box was used to help tighten up the feel
of steering even more. The steering knuckles were replaced with a heavy
duty drop spindle that only accepts the larger aftermarket ball joints.
Specifically for durability in mind. To top off the suspension is the
new 17’’ polished aluminum American racing wheels wrapped in 245 45 r
17 BF Goodrich KDW in front and 285 40 r 17 KDW’s in the rear.

The interior.. What a sight to see! A full 6
point roll cage with removable door supports on a pin and hinge set up
for ease of entrance and exit of the car. (They are currently removed
in the photos.)A custom Dakota digital dash insert and custom center
console are absolutely gorgeous. Smooth Gloss black with polished
aluminum inserts. The console has a 10” LCD screen to watch movies or
use the navigation. Hand made door panels wrapped in a carbon fiber
lookalike material that is offset by black suede makes this interior
one of a kind. This all matches the material on the aftermarket front
seats and custom suede headliner.  The trunk, is matched to the
rest of the interior with awesome coverings for the 1000 watt sub
amps and 450 watt component amp. The double black tinted, power windows
work to perfection, as well as the power door poppers. An emergency,
cable driven latch for the doors are installed in the unlikely event
that the battery dies or keys get locked in the car.

This car was a celebrity build and presents as
a true show stopping custom investment piece.
