GENUINE 2nd World War WILLYS JEEP for full restoration, Chassis number MB 3249**, DATE OF DEVLIVERY 4/25/1944, Imported from the states last year, Every thing has been professionally shot blasted, cleaned, repainted and reassemble so you can see what you are buying, Starting with the "CHASSIS" In very good original condition, Will need rear crossmember, front gussets and work to the front legs (see pictures). AXLES, are correct WILLYS type and turn freely and the front steering hubs have little or no play all nice and oily, Correct ROSS Steering box, SPRINGS, are all correct willys style with Torque reaction spring , will need a few new clips, "CORRECT ENGINE" MB 6105** stamped in the oval, CAST in the right bottom edge 638632, HEAD cast "WILLYS and "JEEP" as it should in 1944, Starts up and runs sweet, excellent oil pressure 60psi on tickover revs to 80psi, no water or oil leaks, Newish replacement carb, Correct distributor and starter all in good condition, very good correct RADIATOR will need a new shroud, "GEARBOX" correct T84 goes in and out of gear ok, "TRANSFERBOX" correct C18 goes in and out of gear ok, correct drive shafts, NOW THE BODY, poor condition but could be repaired, best way is a new tub, TOOL BOXS are very good, number stamped in the front leg 504** (a month older than the DOD as it should be), front WINGS are repairable and the BONNET and front GRILL are in very good conition, HEADLAMP buckets are in excellent condition as is the marker lights, WINDCREEN FRAME is good but brackets are missing and needs a new panel, has a piece of alloy screw to it, Not UK register but have a H M Revenue & Customs 386 stating all duty paid, Nice winter project, getting a thin on the ground now, Please e-mail or phone 07814384330 with any questions or text your e-mail address for more pictures, or come and have a look.
