2018 WINTER SALE.......LOOK BID BUY!!!
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PIC's & DESCRIPTION.
This very much sought after tax exempt 1972 Norton 750 Commando 20M3S model with nice matching numbers has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 20915 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you may or may not know, here at DK Motorcycles we have very little knowledge or experience with these classic British bikes but luckily you aficionados usually put us right!?. As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – R/h mirror being the most obvious. It has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & some of the bright chrome is pitted.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 46 years ago.
The wheels are straight with chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid & are tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is usably clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhausts look original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel it fires, starts, runs & revs.
This is only a very brief description….If you require any further information please give us a call or better still visit our showroom and have a good look over this bike & all the others we have on eBay for yourself – after all who are you going to believe me or your own eyes?
If you are ready for a new project & have been looking for a classic Norton 750 Commando to restore then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!!
We are listing this bike as a trade clearance item with a super low WINTER MADNESS SALE starting price and LOW RESERVE so get bidding and get this project started.......Ask your self the question “CAN I AFFORD NOT TO BID?”

Please call MARK RUSHTON or NEIL WILSON or on 01782 861100 ext 244 or 241 who will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.
