This much sought after 1983 Suzuki GS1100ES muscle bike has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded, a few bits non standard & a few bits are very nice indeed.
The wheels are straight with nice alloy. Forks & yokes look straight. Tail light assy is good as is the headlight. Instruments look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Chain guard is tidy. The engine when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few snorts of ether fires starts & tries to run but it’s obvious the carbs need attention.

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE
NOT got the certificate of title but we will provide proof that
VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1.
You need to
get the bike MOT’d.

2.
You need to
prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Suzuki UKs customer
support on 0500 011959 (press opt 2 & opt 2 again) with the Model
type, frame & engine Numbers, they will organize an application
for a dating letter – there is a charge for this service.

3.
You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on
the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will
charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current
amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related
registration number.
