Description 1951 NORTON 500T

Factory built trials bike. This is a highly collectible factory built trials bike. A must have for any collector of historic trials bikes or Nortons. It is equipped with many features unique to this model only. It has the original high tensile steel wheels, McCandless Bros. reverse triple tree, Dunlop rubber seat, water splash steering damper, aluminum engine by Wellworthy, quick release gas tank, top mounted filler on oil tank, duraluminum fenders, pie crust front brake drum, and dolls head gearbox.   This is strictly a trials bike and is not titled. The provenance of this bike, from new, is known. Piston is +.050 oversize. The Norton buyers guide rates this model a 4 out of 5 for investment potential. The tank has been refinished by Master Metalsmith, Leon Goldik. The satin finished chrome tank was chromed by Deca Chrome. These bikes are very collectible and regularly sell in the Uk for over 10,000 #s. I welcome personal and professional inspections and can be reached at six one three five three seven eight tree seven nine for enquiries. A friend of mine regularly ships bikes to the U.S. and has used: Mackietransportation.com and tfxinternational with excellent results.
