1986 Yamaha SRX600, Cafe Racer, not SR400 SR500 For Sale

Yamaha SRX 600


Up for auction is my SRX600 cafe racer styled thumper.
Approx 25000 kms.
Great bike that go's, stops and handles better than a SR400/500 at a fraction of the cost.
Selling this bike due to lack of space and too many other two wheeled projects.
The bike comes with some nice aftermarket mods that set it apart from stock SRX's
and makes it a lot better value than an SR.


Mods:
Peyton Place exhaust
Daytona gauges
Peyton Place solo seat

Bullet Indicators
Led tail light
Clip on handle bars
K&N air filter
 
The bad: 
I low sided the bike a about 2 years ago due to the old, hard tyres that were on it. I wish it had the super sticky Avon competition compound tyres that are on it now.
Unfortunately the tank hit the only rock on the side of the road and dented the tank.
I have since replaced all the cosmetic parts and have ridden it as is since.
The bike comes with a spare tank but it would need the rust cleaned out of it and sealed, so I don't know what would be the easier fix.
The odometer on the aftermarket daytona gauge is just spinning around but the speedo works fine. (A new one can be found online for around $60-$80).


The good:
The engine runs well and pulls strong without any rattles or smoke.
I was told by the previous owner that it had a new piston put in it but I couldn't confirm whether it was a Wiseco high compression or just standard over bore.
It is currently on Club Rego (non transferable).
The bad points listed above can be easily repaired.
I decided to leave the bike as is for sale because I don't have the time to repair it.
It is priced accordingly so someone else can save some bucks. Ride as is or repair the tank and still be in front.
