Description Honda CB400 Four Classic Vintage Collectible Motorcycle Runs Great Bargain Cheap

Up for auction
with a low reserve and a 99c start is a 1977 Honda CB400 Four. A classic Honda Motorcycle that will only appreciate in value. It is in very good condition and runs very well. The K's are low and genuine and I do know some of the bikes history. The pictures in the listing speak for themselves.

Frame Number :CB400F-1084398

Engine Number: CB400FE-1061918

Recently I replaced the battery, cleaned the carbs, changed the oil, adjusted the valves and fitted a new base and head gasket. I also checked the compression it is exactly what it should be. The valves are also good and not leaking. It seems mechanically sound and starts on the button first go every time.

 It is a
Lams approved motorcycle in Victoria but please check in regards to this in
your state before bidding. But I believe if it is ok in Vic it should be
everywhere else. It’ll be on the web with your registration department.

This bike has only done 23,948 kms since new and is great
condition. It looks great in its factory Varnish Blue Paint.

There are small scratches here and there on the bike consistent with its age,the paint is perfect, most of the scratches aren’t too bad and wont show up in the pics but I like to be as accurate as I can. I'm not saying its in perfect condition, have a good look at the pics and make your own mind up. It is still an old motorcycle!

There is a little bit of pitting on the chrome on the mudguards, handle bars, exhaust and fuel cap but its not too bad. The front mudguard has a small dent in it as well. If the winner was super keen you could grab these parts new off eBay but you could also live with it as it is. Its not a concourse bike but a ride able appreciating classic. Looked after you would easily get your money back in a few years. There is plenty of parts around too, both new and used.

The Bike is sold unregistered and without a roadworthy. It can be fully registered or club registered due to its age. I'm pretty sure everything works but the tyres although they look ok are a bit old. The roadworthy side of it is up to the winner to organise. The tank is undented and the Varnish Blue paint looks great, no tears on the seat either. Sidecovers are spot on. The blinkers, headlight, stoplight all work as they should. The bike is basically stock standard as it left the factory apart from the exhaust.

Before any one queries,I do know the bike doesn't have the correct CB400 Four style of exhaust  If the winner wants an original pipe they  should be able to find a repro one easily they are also quite cheap. This one works fine and isn't too loud but still has a great sound. I'd leave it but that's me,same as the pitting on the guards.

Bidding starts at 99 cents and there is a low reserve, if you want it please bid on
it. Don't ask me what the reserve is if you know what these are worth I'm sure you'll have an idea and I don't think it is too expensive for what it is. These bikes in this condition are very rare.Like I said its an appreciating asset. Better than money in the bank these days.

I won’t sell it before end of auction or do
swaps for it. The auction will run until the end.If it doesn't sell I'll relist it. I know that due to its condition and rarity I will sell it so no offers either.

If you have less than 20 Ebay Tansactions contact me before bidding I’m sick of
buyers who don’t pay and just muck me around. Don't do that.
Have a good look at the photos as they form part of the description, feel free to ask me any questions too.

Once you own the bike it is yours, no returns or refunds. No warranty is implied or given.

I'll help with interstate buyers for pick up but it’s up to you to organise and
pay for it.

I will deliver the bike to you if you are in Melbourne metro area for a small
negotiated fee if you haven't got access to a Ute or trailer. But you will have
to pay me fully first.

No swaps or deals if you want it, bid on it. Don't muck me around I want to
sell it and the highest bidder after it hits reserve will get it.

If you want to see it please call Dave on 0419318138

Bike is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

NO PAYPAL! Unless you want to pay all the fees. Payment by bank deposit or
cash/bank cheque only

Here are some
