Description Restored 1971 CB 750 K1

This 1971 CB 750 has been extensively and
meticulously refurbished.  It is an
almost show quality street riding bike.
I have owned the bike for over 3 years and have invested over $8,000 in it's purchase and restoration.

This bike has a new gas tank, headlight case, upper fork set
and side covers from Yamina Replica Parts of Japan, at a cost of almost
$1,500.  It has genuine HMC 750 NOS
exhaust at a cost of $1,000.  I believe that I purchased one of the last exhaust systems from the inventory of Honda Motors.  The bike
has an NOS rear fender and exhaust heat shields.  The front brake system has been rebuilt,
including new rubber brake lines, the master cylinder core and caliper rebuild
kit.  The front brakes have been bled
with Amsoil DOT 4 fluid.

The steering head bearings have been re-greased, as have the
bearings for the rear trailing arms.  Most
of the chrome bolts and nuts have been replaced with Honda NOS parts, including
the upper fork caps.  Many screws have been replaced, as have many rubber parts.  The fork oil has
been changed using Amsoil ATF.

The right & left rear view mirrors are NOS Honda
parts.  The Left handlebar switch that
includes the horn & directional controls has been replaced with an NOS
part.  The bike has a new drive chain and
a new clutch cable.  The bike also has a
reupholstered seat with a new cover and a rebuilt seat pan. There is a very small dent in the rear fender (picture attached).

The engine oil and filter are up to date, using Amsoil
synthetic motorcycle oil.   The
carburetors have been rebuilt and balanced.
The bike has new carburetor dust boots, new brass floats, new main jets,
slow jets, needle valves and a new air filter.
The bike has new spark plugs, points and condenser and the valves have
been adjusted.   The engine runs strong,
has good compression and it burns no oil.

Many hours of
meticulous restoration have been put into this bike.  I have numerous bikes including two early CB
750s.  Storage is too cramped, so one has
to go.  The bike comes with original
tools, most receipts, maintenance records and an expense summary.

Interested buyers may view this bike in person.
