Description Honda 1966 CB72 Hawk (250cc version of CB77 Superhawk)

1966 HONDA CB72 250cc Hawk. 
1966 HONDA CB72 Hawk 250cc.(Same as CB77 Superhawk but not 305cc) 
Has only had 15 kms test riding since ground up rebuild. 
Including: New tyres, seat, chain, battery, handlebars, mirrors, wiring loom and all cables. Many other new parts incorporated during the rebuild.
Original engine as fitted from factory. Engine and gearbox rebuilt. Rebuilt crankshaft with new big end bearings. New inlet valves. Barrel rebored to 1mm oversize. New high compression pistons and rings. 
New camshaft bearings. New camshaft @ LHS. Barnett clutch installed. Gearbox has crossed gears for improved ratios and shimmed gearsets. Offset gear cotters installed to improve dog engagement. New seals and gaskets throughout.
Fuel tank painted and clear coated.  Side covers and guards in two pack silver paint. 
Frame, swing arm and centre stand, sandblasted and painted. 
Front forks refurbished and have new seals.
Carburettors professionally cleaned and rebuilt with new overhaul kits.
New down pipes with original mufflers.
Many parts have been stripped, refurbished, plated, polished, painted or replaced. (Except speedo and mufflers)
Late model CB72 fitted with indicators.
Genuine DID wheel rims.
