Description MK2 Transit Custom restoration unfinished project,street van,hot rod Ford 3.0 V6

Re-listed due to an understandable change in winning bidders circumstances..
BUT! for anyone who was watching this last time round, i have now bundled togther the set of body panels and the MEGA rare genuine Wolfrace Turbine alloys.
(as im only allowed to have 12 pics, please look at more pics of the alloys and panels in my other items for sale "completed items..)
I once said i would never do this,
but times have changed and forthcoming parenthood will stop me from re-restoring this van for a long time....
Anyone that has been around the custom "street" van scene over the last 10 years will almost certainly of seen or at least heard this van...
Known as "Van-tendo"  due to its 80's period Nintendo themed interior.
Ive owned her for over 10 years now and she was a standard white panel van running a 2.5di and type 9 box when i started...
Since then i have fitted a high comp essex 3.0l V6 with 4 speed gearbox with overdrive.
the engine having had new valves, valve stems, steel timing gear fitted not long after me doing the conversion due to a timing gear failure.
Powersteering comes from a mk3 transit ambulance and is a very very rare piece of kit in its own right.
early jaguar leather seats, lovely and comfy, but has quite a few cracks..
the rear suspension has been jacked up by 2" via the use of  longer shackles, but the original standard ones are also included.
she starts up fine with a good set of jump leads as the battery fitted is now dead. drives and stops fine.
though the radiator is not plumbed in at the moment, as i gave the pipe work to a friend. a kenlowe style fan is fitted and she also comes with a brand new radiator still in the box.
the body and chassis are generally very solid and is by no means "past it".
with a few weekends welding and very minor tinkering she would easily pass an MOT.
main bad points are "holed wings" a few minor holes on inner wings near bonnet hinges and outer sills have a few holes.
in general all the electrics work fine, though front n/s indicator's mounting points on the wing have rusted away.
fitted with again, quite a rare original "top tint" windscreen held in by a more practical MK1 transit screen rubber.
the interior still has its overhead console with cb radio, air horn pump set-up, disco lights.
the disco smoke machine is still fitted along with the 12v beer fridge and 2 hob pull out gas cooker.
the inverters that powered this are no longer fitted (but could be available at extra cost, though not expensive)
now, this is where it gets interesting.
this action is for the van as pictured, in the current condition.
I have spent many hours and years collecting all the new parts i would need to restor this van
back to her "famed" custom glory.
i have nearly all body panels needed to complete this van....
wings, steps, sills, mid sills, rear quarters and a few used panels that will offer up perfect repair "patches" (guttering sections and inner (inside cab) wings.
ALSO now included wolfrace turbine wheels (RARE! only ever seen 2 other sets) which are now also included. "big-n-little" tyres.
Anyone wishing to view the van is more than welcome to (just north of buckingham).
thier are so many little details about this van i really dont know what else to say. apart from she has no MOT and has not been on the road for around 5 years.
so dont expect to drive her away, but she can definatly drive herself onto your trailer, as with a good battery (none fitted) she fire up pretty much instantly.
And she is definatly far far too good to be a breaker..
so, please study the pictures, ask as many questions as you like or even better come have a look! or i can send more pictures upon request.
there is also a build diary on the ford transit forum titled "beefy's MK2" though i dont have the link..
cash on collection only, bid to buy etc..
Please ask for more pics of the alloys and panels, or have a look at my completed listings..
cheers for looking, Beefy.

Please note: NO overseas bidders (or exporters).

Ta, M
