1969 DAIMLER V8 250..bills for £6,500 and professional work underneath. V nice. For Sale

1969 Daimler V8 250 and overall a very nice driving car. Only 6 owners from new.Starts on the button from cold or hot. Superb oil pressure. Engine is very very clean.


Over £4100 was spent on this Daimler in 2002 on new sills, crows feet, and much much more. The full detailed invoice is present from Meadowfields Garage in Whitby, and if I get a spare hour tomorrow I will write up everything that's on it. It is that intensive and you will not be disappointed by reading it, or even better viewing the Daimler personally so you can see the quality of work on the underside.


Recent expenditure totalling £1850 in December 2014 for a reconditioned steering rack and new water pump plus fitting.
In March 2016 a receipt for setting up distributor correctly and setting up of carbs and timing. Replaced blown dashboard lights and repair washer switch + labour = £447.


Mot until the end of March, but I am that confident in this lovely ole gal, and for your peace of mind, it will come with 12 months mot.


She looks very attractive in her red livery and tan leather interior. As shown a few small blisters on the bodywork, and a tear in the leather on the passenger seat. A new main headlining has been fitted, maybe in 2002, and this is mint. I presume this was done and then the Webasto sunroof that is fitted was sealed up to prevent any water ingress on this new material. Just the small separate section around the rear window now needs tidying. Not a bid job if you wish to get the webasto sunroof in working condition again I am sure.
