Description 1940 Bentley Other

Planned to be shown at the 1939/40 New York World Fair but due to the hostilities no cars were sent from the U.K. then sold to Jack Barclay who owned the world's largest dealership of Rolls Royce cars and it was  registered JB 1. A condition of the sale was that it  would be
privately used for the next two years and that the company would be given regular evaluations as all  the Bentley MK V's were really experimental cars and considered vital to the companies future production after the hostilities were over.
The MK V mascot is very special also and was designed by Georges Paulin on the instruction of  Rolls Royce for the Bentley MK V Corniche . Last year I commissioned a recreation from the original by the late Professor Ken Britten for presentation to his nephew Michele Georges Paulin in appreciation of his uncles ultimate sacrifice during WW2 .   B-34-AW is one of only three Bentleys to have the MK V mascot.
I will assist with shipping anywhere in the world to the winning bidder and will listen to offers/suggestions
The Bentley is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to remove the car prior to the end of the auction.
Best of luck. Any questions answered that I can. Thank you for looking.
