Where do I start. I have owned this Passat for about 8 years, bought it as a standard GT 2 litre 16valve and since then I have spent a fortune on it, not to mention the time. Dont want to sell but I never have the time to drive it let alone finish it. Been to two VW shows this year and won two trophy's, now bad for an unfinished van so plenty of potential
 The rear doors where welded up about 6 years ago and about a year later I had two panels made up to make it in to the van you see now, this was not as straight forward as you would think. Passat has been inspected by VOSA and registered as a van, great when you go to your local steelership and they ask for the reg number and it comes up van and they say "didnt know they made a Passat van" Far as I know this is the only one there is. Standard body kit and all the mouldings along with door handles, side repeaters washer jets have been shaved, drivers door is on a popper, washer jet now in scuttle panel and the split tailgate opens from the front. Rear USA tub is molded in to the lower tail gate, Pug fog light is in the bumper, Rare Hella DE front lights and custom made clear indicator rear lights, single wiper
Dash is all steel and the front is made from a pair of front wings so as to get the swage line that runs along the body to run along the dash, bonnet lines also run through dash. Speedo is from a Volvo 122 and works accurately due to having a recalibration box. Uses the standard fuel temp gauge in consul and theres oil pressure and oil temp gauges. Bench seat is fron a Nissan truck and recovered in red vynle  as is the door cards, Red headlining and all plastic trim smoothed and painted to match.Widows are electric, steering wheel is a Thump Thump copy. Alpine Head unit, I pod connection, Genesis 4 channel and sub amp, Black Diamond front speakers, Focal rears and 15 inch Hollywood sub, Thatchen approved alarm that operated the popper
Running Gear
2liter 16valve 9a engine, 4 branch manafold, stainless exhaust with side exit and modified airbox. Brakes have been uprated with groved front discs and braided break lines, all for calihers have been rplaced. Wheels staggered Keskins with good tyres except the rear side walls have rubbed before arched where modded. Rear axel bushes replace. Cm belt was replaced about 15k ago
AP coilovers, can easily be raised or lowered even more, AP's are quality coilovers, rear is fitted with camber shims
Rear interior needs finishing, could do with new bushes in gear shifter but Im used to it. There is a crack in the screen where the rear view mirror was pulled off as it was not glued in the right place but these are minor things
I consider the starting price low and I will only leave the head unit and amps if it reaches £3000. Whoever buys this will be getting a custom one off Passat Van, just needs sign writing and you have a good vehicle for advertising as this thing gets loads of attention Passat has current MOT but is SORN
