Offered a rare 1963 Mercury Comet 2dr post barn find. Stored since 1971.
This would be an ideal candidate for an easy restoration, or would make an excellent basis for a resto-mod. The car is complete,and has not been driven since 1971.The car is not currently running and will require a complete restoration.
 Like the Falcon these cars are very light approx 2450 lbs, so with some V8 muscle they can make for a very interesting ride.
The body is straight and in very good condition. It still has original paint with almost no rust. Must be seen to appreciate. The floors will need some repair in a couple of places.
These cars are quite rare in the 2dr post style.
 Restoration is simplified because the mechanical and under body components of these cars are identical to similar year Falcons, which have lots of reproduction pieces available.
Car is located in Canada about 55 miles north of North Dakota.
