Description 1970 C10 Swb, frame off, New 500hp 406

1970 C-10 Swb 2WD

I purchased this truck several years ago from a family member and had a Total frame off restoration performed. This is a true SWB truck and not a cut down LWB which are getting more common!

This truck ALWAYS draws a crowd and is a consistent show winner.  I would judge the paint an 8 out of 10 as there are a few inperfections (I am picky)  however as you can see by the pictures the truck is quite stunning. My plans were install a steel cowl induction hood at some point as such I have not bothered to fix a few minor spots on the hood.  The current QuickFuel carb set up is great however I had planned to step up to a FITECH system  running a fuel commander, this would be a great upgrade to an already awesome engine!

The truck runs great and is VERY strong.

I am moving onto to another project so I am letting the truck go. I am not looking for any trades however I would consider selling the truck as a roller (minus engine/transmission)

Below are the specs, Note that I have over 500 pictures in the photobucket link showing the extent of the work performed! I also have a book of receipts that will go along with the truck.  The orginal trim pieces, paint codes, HOK gold flake and any other spares that I have will go with the truck.

Powertrain

·       Brand new 500hp 406 Dart block by Skip White Racing. Specs below.  Previously I had a built 355 installed, I replaced it with the 406 late last year. Just look at the torque curve on the dyno video. I have less than 500 miles on the new engine.

Text me @ 601-320-8895 with questions or offers

I have the truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end this auction early.

I would only consider older GM cars or a 2002 Camaro SS/WS6 with cash my way.

May sell as a roller for 25k if the buyer has an LS swap in mind
