Description 1959 BSA B31 ALTERNATOR

BSA B31 alternator model,  the last of the line of good, reliable BSA singles. Not so many alternator models about now.
This one has been upgraded to 12V electrics and benefits from having alloy rims, fitted with Dunlop K70 tyres, front and rear..
The pictures show the mileage as of today, but, PLEASE NOTE, this will increase before the listing ends as the bike is in daily use.
The bike has had a recent new exhaust downpipe and silencer fitted. A couple of months ago, I fitted a new set of piston rings, the bore is +20, so loads of life left!
Big end felt good.Oil has just been changed.and a new 12v battery has been fitted and it has Tomoselli levers.
The reason that I am selling this Beeza is because a friend has a bike that I have been lusting after for a good few years, but he would not sell, but now he has told me I can buy it. So, very reluctantly, My trusty B31 has to go to raise the funds.
It will cruise relentlessly at 50 to 60 mph and give good fuel consumption, it never misses a beat.
Now the not so good bits! It could do with a front rocker box gasket as it is weeping a tad.and it's on the to do list, but I haven't got round to it. The paintwork is presentable but the clear coat has crazed in places, you can just detect it in the pics. There is the odd chip and scuff but nothing serious.. The original Lucas Altette horn is fitted but does not work because it's 6v and the bike is now 12volt (It has a squeaker on the handlebars) Oh, and the fork springs could do with being greased as they are a bit raunchy.
It's basically a very good bike and has served me well and I have had (and still having) a lot of fun with it. I am sure the new owner will not be disappointed with it.I have the current V5 in my name.
The Beeza is MOT exempt and Tax exempt although It does have a current long MOT with no advisories.
All up and on the road and ready to go!
Now the boring stuff!
Anyone with less that 10 feedback will have to contact me before they bid. The bike is offered at auction, with no reserve, which will run to the end, There is NO  buy it now price, so please don't ask! this is a one time listing, if it fails to sell, It will not be relisted, I shall keep it!
Cash on collection, No paypal.
Good luck and happy bidding!
