Description Moto Guzzi Le Mans 850 MK1

Moto Guzzi Le Mans 850

I have for sale a 1978 Moto Guzzi Le Mans 850 Mk1 Cafe first registered on 2nd June 1978.  I am selling it on behalf of my father who bought it in the early 1980's.  He took it apart, for reasons even he doesn't understand, and it has remained in bits in boxes dry stored since then.

The bike comes with the original V5 from the previous owner but, again, for reasons unknown, my Father never registered it in his name so it shows the last change of keeper being 1981.

Unfortunately it has become clear that my Father will never get around to putting it back together and reluctantly he has decided to sell it.  My parents are downsizing so it is one of the things that has to go.

It is a genuine MK1 Le Mans with correct frame and engine numbers for a 1978 bike which are present on the V5.
The bike is all there apart from the screen for the fairing.  The chances are it will show up before the end of the sale as my Mum has put it somewhere safe but please bid with the belief that the screen is not included.

I have included photo's of where the bike was stored and parts of it before I pulled them out.  I will be adding photographs of the bike in boxes as they currently sit in my garage by Thursday 17th November.

I will add photo's of the frame before the end of the auction as it is currently being powder coated and should be completed before Friday 18th November.

Please be mindful that this is being sold as requiring full restoration and as such is an excellent opportunity as it has already been taken apart.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please do not offer me anything outside of the auction as I will be letting it run to the end.  The start price is very sensible and there is no reserve so anything over the start price could buy it.

This is likely to be the cheapest Mk1 Le Mans you will ever see and we all know what they are worth restored or even just put back together.
The bike is sold as seen and in good faith. No warranty is given on this 38 year old bike.

Cash on collection only please.

The bike is to be collected from North Wales.  15 Miles south of Chester and 15 miles North of Shrewsbury.
