AA1982 Model FXS Lowrider. Price negotiable. Matching Frame & Engine numbers. Full Rebuild/Restoration/Customisation completed 2 years ago. Only ridden a couple of 1000 Ks since. Extensive list of Genuine and Aftermarket parts and components included in the rebuild. These include, (but are not limited to), the S&S Carb, Exhaust, Stator, Rotor, Starter Motor, Seat, Ignition Module, Regulator, all seals, gaskets and bearings. Boxes of new and second hand spares come with bike, (which Includes mid-mount bracket for unique Belt Drive conversion as well as brace and front rotor cover), Service/Parts manuals, Rebuild notes, all receipts, service journal and personalised number plate also included. Original factory paperwork. Third owner since new. As I am a spanner man by trade and have rebuilt cars and motor bikes in the past. I purchased the bike as a project. Prong at Cairns Performance Motorcycles had already given the engine barrels and heads a rebuild. After stripping it down, the Engine, Gearbox & Primary cases along with the Frame, Fork Tubes, Rims and misc covers/housings were given to Roberto's Custom Powder Coating (http://www.robertoscustompowder.com.au/). Brackets, some hardware, Rear Springs, etc were given to QLD Nameplates, (http://www.qnpgroup.com.au/products/qld-nameplate-products/chroming-anod...), for chroming. I painted the Guards, Fuel Tanks and Oil Tank in Black Acrylic with 5 ml of Red Metal Flake, (visible in the right light). I assembled the bike in my shed, using the right tools and procedures to ensure reliability. The engine bottom end was tight and had been rebuilt earlier in it's life so I did not split the flywheels, (it is an Evo bottom end and they can go for over 500,000 k's easy with regular oil & filter changes). I have attached some photo's of the rebuild and have more on my phone which I can send if required. Since the rebuild I have converted back to points which has helped make it easy to kick start without forking out the big bucks for an aftermarket Electronic unit. I've been made redundant, sold my Thruxton and now it's time for the Shovel to go while I try and get a business up and running.
