Description GILBERN GENIE 1968, Extensively restored.

*****  GILBERN
GENIE 1968  *****

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a very good
example of a roadworthy marvellous British Classic car, with extensive
refurbishments already done. Runs well and always passes MOT. Nice
straightforward project to take forwards positively.

SUMMARY:

On offer is an excellent example of an earlier Genie
which I acquired on 07/08/2009 as a fun project to work on with my young son.  This is an opportunity to acquire a rare
historic British classic car which is easy to maintain with a background of
reliable spares & support network, and being cheap to own and run.  The old original 'Green Registration Book' is
available showing  previous 3
ownerships.  The car was in garaged
storage from 1983 until 2009 when I purchased it.  Extensive electro-mechanical  refurbishments have been carried out to make
this a roadworthy vehicle which always passes it's MOT year on year. The
chassis is in very good condition with no rot etc.  The bodywork is original and the only main
outstanding refurbishment  now is to
refine,  prepare and conduct a re-spray
to your own requirements, (some
exploratory sanding down of roof & bonnet areas done). Some minor
general odd-jobs too.  It boasts a Ford
Essex 3 Ltr V6 high compression engine & gearbox with overdrive on 3rd
& 4th, making for a smooth driving machine.  The car comes with a Gilbern hand book plus a
Haynes Ford Zodiac Mk4 workshop manual covering all engine & gearbox
technical maintenance areas.

Current Mileage: 62,345
miles.

This car will come with a
new one years MOT.
