Description 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427 Tri-power Roadster - May part trade

1969
Corvette Stingray, 427/400 Tri-power L68 4 Speed Transmission - close ratio
M21.

This is a
numbers matching Corvette with just under 67,000 original miles on the clock.

The whole
car is still exactly how it left the factory with the exception of radial
tyres.

Everything
on this Corvette is correct for how it should be from factory. It has its original
factory paint in Riverside Gold option code 980 and its original factory
interior in Saddle Tan (vinyl/fabric) option code 420. The hard top is also in
Riverside Gold and the soft top is White.

It has all
its original chrome and glass which is all in beautiful condition.

This
Corvette is a fantastic example of a ‘Survivor’ Corvette.

I have been
around Corvettes since my Dad bought his first one in 1979. As a result of this
and my continued passion for Corvettes since then, I know that there are very
few, if any Corvettes of this year that haven’t been resprayed or completely messed
with. Personally, I have never come across, nor ever seen one this unmolested,
it really is a ‘Survivor’.

This car has
never had a respray, this is the original paint that it came with from the
factory and the body is completely straight and clean. It has never been messed
with inside or out. It has all of its original interior and it is in great
condition. Nothing has been changed or altered, it still has its factory
original AM/FM push button radio option U69 which is in good working condition.

This really
is one for the collector (on a worldwide scale), the enthusiast or simply someone
who just wants an exceptionally clean ‘time-capsule’ of a 1969 Corvette.

It comes
with the original Protect-O-Plate, Owners’ Manual, Warranty Card and Tank Sticker which is
still on the car (I have photos of it).

These items merely
serve to add to the Corvettes’ originality, history and desirability.

I am the 3rd
owner. It was a California car and was first sold at John Geer Chevrolet in
Sacramento on 28th February 1969. It has had two previous
Californian owners. I am the first owner in Australia. I imported this Corvette
on 17th December 2003.

I have all
the documentation available for the Corvette including the import approval.

It drives
just as it should, it does everything that it is supposed to do.

In the 12
years that I have owned it, I’ve only driven it on special occasions.

This Corvette
is a great driver and it runs beautifully.

I believe this
Corvette is definitely a contender for NCRS judging. It even has its original
spare wheel with its original tyre on it that has never been on the road, it
still has chalk marks on it from factory.

Recent work
that I have had done on the Corvette include a complete new exhaust system,
brake master cylinder rebuilt (still the original one), rear callipers rebuilt,
carburettors rebuilt, a fresh tune up and fluids changed.

If this isn’t
the most original and untouched 1969 Big Block Tri power Corvette in the
country, then I’d like to see the one that is.

It is currently
registered on NSW Club Registration, which is NON transferrable.

If it is
bought within NSW (for a price), I am willing to fully register it and also (for
a price), I have the plates MR427 (with no annual RMS fee) which can be
registered on it.

This car
really needs to be seen to be appreciated.

No test
drives, I am happy to take someone for a drive, but no one will be driving this
Corvette until I have been paid in full.

It is being
sold as is, where is and no warranty is expressed or implied.

I will
consider a part trade on American Muscle Car or Hot rod or Classic or Custom, I’m
looking for a 4 seater, something I can put the whole family in. Anything will
be considered.

help international buyers with shipping or interstate buyers with transport, at
