Description 1951 Harley Davidson Panhead El ex police bike - 1 owner for LONG time

Quite a story behind this one. Got it just a couple days ago from Daytona Beach, Florida area. This bike started out it's life in New York as a police bike. Foot clutch (last year for only foot clutch on Panheads, 1952 would see hand clutch as an option) and hand (tank) shifter. The first one to own it when it was retired from police service was the policeman who had been riding it since new (1951) and he kept it until he died in 2010. Same rider for 59 years. His wife sold this panhead in Daytona about six months ago, almost six years after he died, and also a 1965 pan he had to the person I bought this 1951 from. It was Florida tagged and driving on the street just 3 days ago. New Drag Specialties 6 volt battery. Looks like a new coil. Still 6 volt electrics that work fine. Motor starts and runs excellent. Drives excellent. Four speed transmission. The original owner did a mild restoration on it in early 1980s. He took off the gas tanks and the fenders for repainting (looks like Pepper Red, not sure) , and looks like he did a top end. I do NOT think this bottom end or transmission has EVER been out of the frame. Still has the skid plate on the bottom of the engine that looks untouched. And the frame, engine cases, transmission case, etc. all look excellent with NO cracks, NO extra welds, or repairs. There is one small chip off of a cylinder fin on the left side of the rear cylinder that you can hopefully see in the pictures, pretty minor -about 3/8 inch at it's deepest part and slightly over one inch long.. Some of this Panhead's original aluminum's (and black) paint is still on the bike. Some aluminum paint was added when he did the top end it looks like. Certainly looks like original black paint on the unmolested frame.
Left side handlebar still has it's adjustable grip for circuit breaker cable and all works fine to retard and return the spark at the circuit breaker.
Some aftermarket parts have been put on this bike, but not many. It has had it's gas caps replaced, the speedometer face is not correct from what I know, and the petcock top does not look original, but all works. Many, many original parts including Linkert carburetor, Harley air cleaner, exhaust pipes, etc. Most of the bike's nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc. still are on this bike. Looks like it's original inner and outer primary covers, but with a new derby and inspection cover. They might be Harley, not sure, but this original owner had lots of spare parts too.
Original horn and hardware still there and working too.Very loud sounding original horn.
Keep it as it is or restore it to it's original police bike state if that's what you want to do. There are still holes in the front fender that I would certainly think are for the police siren that would have been on it. The leather saddlebags I have no idea how old they are, but they are in excellent condition, again, see pictures.
Ask any and all questions, I may or may not know the answers, but will give you an honest answer as I can. I know (at least it looks like to me) that the tombstone tail light is not original, but it does have an original glass Harley red lens in it. Also looks like a real glass clear lens. The mileage on the speedometer (speedometer still works too) might be the miles it has had on it since the mild restoration about 30 years ago. That would be 568 miles. This bike runs excellent and starts right up like it should. All four gears are there, charging system works, etc. I do not think the luggage rack is original either. It does have some of it's (most of it's really) original cloth wiring, look at the fork neck area. Also has it's original front fork dampener. I do not think the front end has ever been off this bike either. It does have some minor dings in the headlight shroud, but lower legs and upper fork tube covers are pretty darn nice.
Tires are in good shape and not dry rotted or anything either.
Looks like original tank emblems and original Sergeant stripes on rear fender, too. And generator and oil lights all work. The add on light is high beam indicator and I've never seen one like it, an accessory no doubt. Don't know if from Harley though. Original balls and cock tail fender trim and all fender trim looks original to me.
I have the ignition key that still locks and unlocks the ignition switch and also the key for the frame's fork lock that still locks and unlocks the front end. Look like very old keys too.
I do not know if the seat on the bike is original or not. There is also another solo seat that I have that is black and new that I did not have room to put in the pictures. Buyer can have choice of seats and will send anyone interested a picture of the other solo seat I was given with bike. There has been a "helper" spring put over the original seat post and both it and the front end have very good suspensions.
These rigid frame Panheads are getting way harder to find in this condition. You can find them restored with way more aftermarket parts on them that this one has (and for a LOT more money too) , but they won't be as original as this for the price I'm asking.
Again, ask any and all questions, I will respond.
