Jaguar XJC 2 Door Coupe 1976 4.2 Auto Restoration Project For Sale

1976 XJC 2 door coupe for restoration. Needs some welding to floor panels but nothing major.  Bodywork scruffy but in good overall condition just needs a bit of work and re spray.  Mechanically engine runs but auto choke is playing up (common problem on these cars) but is fixable. Auto box has drive we understand.  Interior is ok - seat can be repaired and touched up - head lining good but needs carpets. Rest of interior is ok. Chrome work and wheels all ok just need some elbow grease.  Lots of parts available for these cars and 4.2 straight six the better engine than the 5.3 V12.  Car has been HPI checked and is all clear and we have V5 etc. Also have some parts as required.  Is a decent restoration project and should be worth £12-15k once completed.  We are not doing it as too busy on other projects.
