OK< here we have a very special bike indeed. Imported from the sunny USA where she has been cared for and loved all her life. She entered the UK in 2011 and has stayed as a show girl only until July this year when I finally put her on the road. [Best thing I ever did].
What we have is a XL350 K1 the 350 version of the UK 250 and 125 that we enjoyed back in the 70s. She has only 2400 miles, may go up slightly if we get a sunny day and I pop off the H café on her. She really and truly is a museum quality bike as she left the factory in 1975 and only genuine miles on her. The condition supports all of that. The tool kit, owners hand book, original 3 keys, and yellow paint on secure nuts and bolts from factory and a raft of other paperwork, road tests and mags all confirm she has indeed been blessed with a good life. The only non standard items are a Honda factory fit fork brace to stop the forks flexing and a few replacement SS nuts and bolts. Other than that she is stock with aged patina only and nothing else. She rides great, handles great, has no faults and is a real pleasure to ride. If you take her out, it will take you an hour to get out of any bike park as folks flock over her and admire her for what she is, a genuine honest old girl aged near on 40 acting and looking like a bike of only months old !
