Description 1981 Honda Z50 JZ Gorilla Monkeybike Takegawa GCraft Kitaco

After months of consideration, it is with regret that I have decided to sell my much loved Honda Gorilla. I've had this bike for a couple of years and when I got hold of it, it was a little worse for wear. It is a 1981 Honda Z50JZ Gorilla Japanese model with 7063km on the clock and shipped from Japan in 2013. The bike is in very good condition having had a full restoration. I'll list the parts:

-Gcraft 8 x 4.0 split rims black
-Gcraft B77 Steady tyres
-Takegawa R-stage head and 88cc bore kit
-Daytona hydraulic forks
-Daytona rear shocks
-Daytona clutch and HD clutch springs
-Kitaco brake pads front and rear
-Kitaco air filter
-Takegawa engine covers and polished clutch cover
-Takegawa manifold
-Takegawa gear shifter

In addition to these parts the majority of the nuts, bolts and fixings have been re-coated or replaced with OEM Honda parts. The frame, forks, swingarm, racks, bars, clamps, mudguards, headlight etc have been painted or powder coated. The seat is original and does have a slight tear on the rear underneath the piping. I was quoted £50 for a new cover, but wanted to keep the original cover with the bike. The tank has been professionally repainted and lacquered with Honda decals although the paint has bubbled under the fuel cap.

I will include a box of parts with the sale, tyres, stickers, mirrors, cylinder, head, piston etc etc. One of the pictures shows the bike with the original steel rims and nobbly tyres. These will be included in the sale as well as the GCraft ones fitted to the bike.

As I only use the bike in the summer months I put it on sorn over the winter. It sailed through the last MOT and there is no reason it shouldn't do the same again. All the paperwork is present including the old MOT certificates. The V5 is in my name and there are two keys for the bike.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Viewing is welcome.
Collection only. Thanks.
