1980 PORSCHE 911 PROJECT
OUTSIDE
Very good body on a car that’s been off the road 5 years or
more. The paint is perfect under the grime and dirt. No dents only rust I’ve
found on the car anywhere is on the front wing see pictures. Has great and
clean alloy wheels fitted. The body kit is all 996 and makes the car look
great. The Targa roof is all good and seals the vinyl is all intact no rips.
Also has a mechanical pop up rear spoiler untested as yet.
INSIDE
Believe this to be original has white leather electric seats all
seem to work. The das is all there and original no cracks on the top.  Seats need work on the front but the rears
are like new still. Floor pans all solid back and front.
ENGINE
3.0LTR Engine good pressure have had this running but had to feed
it. Believe after some investigation it needs another metering head or this one
cleaning out as fuels not coming past fuel filter needs a clean out. 5 speed
manual box.
SUMMERY
This car is a project but what a great base to start a good
solid clean car. This car was parked up due to an exhaust fault 5 years ago and
never moved again engine is low ,lies only 110k on the clock. The car was 100%
perfect. It is all freewheeling turns over will run if you feed it briefly.
This will make a wonderful winter project ready for next summer. The car now as
you see her is exactly as bought not cleaned or anything wanted it seen as a
barn find.  If the car does not make a sensible
price as is ill get it running clean it put it through MOT to see what’s what
as I can’t imagine it’s a great deal don’t miss this one. Few bits of paperwork
I have the V5 last owner 13 years paid 13k for her then only ever an
appreciating classic.
