Description FORD ZODIAC MK2 1960

I bought this on here in October last year as a running restoration project and you've guessed it.... I haven't done a great deal since.
When I bought it I carried out some basic repairs and swaps with some bits I had lying around to get it through an MOT. It did pass but not with flying colours, no advisories but on a bit of a wing and a prayer. I put another set of wheels and tyres on it (as the ones in the photos are cracked with age), Repaired some wiring for the lights and fitted wipers from my land rover. It worked and the car passed the test (Just...ha).
Since then it has remained on  my driveway along with all of my other projects 8 motorbikes, Motorhome, 3 Cars and a classic Ford Orion Ghia i.
I did start collecting some spares for the car (See pic) there are - Rear lights, trims and chrome parts, a rear door and front and rear winscreens. the car doesn't need these but thought they may be handy for the future as I was intending to restore and keep the car to do some classic car shows this year. I also bought a set of classic Mustang Craigar chrome 5 spoke wheels for £500 if anyone is interested in them (Not included in the sale).
I would love to finish the car and use it but being realistic probably never will. I paid around £4000 for the car and £300 for the Zodiac parts so £4300 in total. I have sent a little further money registering the car here in the UK again as it was exported to Southern Ireland in 1999. The car was originally a British car registered in 1960 (tax exempt) then exported 1999 and brought back to the UK last October by a classic car dealer who I bought the car from. It is fully registered in my name and I have a V5C in my name so nothing other to do in that area.
It was running and driving when I got it but the battery is flat and wouldn't atart the other day when I tried it. It should start with no problem with some fuel and a good battery (If I get the time I will have a try through the week).
Looks slightly better in the pics but is really good for its age of 56 years old!!!!!
It is column shift manual gearbox, Bench seats front and rear, Towbar (Which is horrible and needs to come off but up to new owner). The sunvisor is original metal one which itself is worth a fortune.
The other week I had a good look at the body and isn't really that bad -
The previous owner who sold it in 1999 said the car had a bare metal respray back then (I have his details for the next owner.
Genuine reason for sale and it is what it is.... Please don't turn up expecting to drive it home it needs bits and bobs doing to it to make it a daily runner (Couple of tyres, battery etc....).
If you are in any doubt and have never owned a classic Ford before either go and buy a Fiesta or take your estimated budget and doubling it.... (Anyone who has restored a classic car will understand the last statement).
I am selling this car the same way I bought it as a possible running restoration project and with no warranty given or implied.
That said I am a genuine ebayer and classic car/motorcycle nut. So please come and take a look and have a coffee and I will help as much as I can with advice, parts, collection from train station etc...
I will consider a sensible offer but I am not desparate to sell so please don't waste my time and yours.
As usual any questions please just ask either thro the contact the seller on here or my mobile 07772016803 Bri....
