1968 Mercury Cougar GT For Sale

Car has been off the road since 1974. It starts runs but carb needs rebuilding motor runs smooth and quiet when I tried it with a buddys clean holley 600, trans shift well, brake sketchy did the rear wheel cylinders but front calipers will need servicing or replacing.this car will need a full resto but is solid although the pictures dont really show it, no rusted out panels frame rails torque boxes all good only rust hole is in the drivers toe board about the size of a golf ball. This is a true gt 390 4 speed power brake manual steering car all numbers match original engine 9 inch 3.25 posi rear all there. Have a lot of spare sheet metal parts if wanted also nos door hinges and few other things, No console I know where you can get a concours restored black XR7 console for it but you will pay dearly for it because its as new or better.
