Description Porsche 911 RSR IROC creation

For Sale my 1982 911 SC re-bodied as 1974 Porsche 911 RSR / IROC.
I'm selling because I've too many other 911's, some as projects so something has to go. I have a link to 100+  photos showing the transformation  from SC to RSR which was done before I owned the car. If I was to keep the car the next step was to upgrade the engine by either building a hotrod 3 - 3.5L based on the original engine running PMO's - or fit a 964/993 engine - but its for the new owner to decide. The car isn't exactly slow but it's crying out for a really quick engine to match the cars looks but could be driven perfectly happily the way it is.
The 3.0 SC engine was low in compression on one cylinder after a leak-down test, this was traced to stuck piston rings - these were replaced and now engine shows 90% + across all 6 cylinders. I've have some road miles to put on the engine before final CIS setup before getting a fresh MOT.
Transmission is standard 915 and shifts beautifully - linkages to the transmission are particularly positive which isn't always the case with older 911's. Current mileage shows 62k but I cannot verify this as true but the engine is strong as the leak-down tests have proved.
Black and red - real retro look. Car had a complete red interior but was too much in my opinion so has now been fitted with a new quality black carpet with contracting black and red door cards, the original sports seats have been retained. The dash top, door caps, sun visors and rear parcel shelf have been flocked to compliment the overall interior.
Exterior - not for the faint heated - but you know that! Built to the correct specification with GRP front and rear flares, front and rear bumper the rest is all original steel. Condition is a 9/10 there is some sinking of paint where a few of the rivets have been used to fix the flares to the body, and there are some other very small blemishes - however you have to look hard to find these and doesn't take away from the car in any respect. Don't forget the car 33 years old and hardly unexpected - but this is miles from being the rust buckets that look "okay" in other listings. The chassis and underneath the car is very good indeed - all been coated with stone chip with no underlying rust issues.
Stunning deep dish 17" Speedline rims with fitted with Pirelli 245's on the front and massive 335's on the rear - tyres are virtually new. I did have the wheels refurbished recently including new inner and outer rims and new bolts - the car has no wheel spacers as the wheels now have the correct offset. Brakes have all been refurbished and new discs and pads fitted.
I'm listing now unashamedly to get maximum exposure over the Christmas and New Years holiday period, however I'm out of the country and off on holidays for two weeks returning on the 10th Jan when I'll have the car MOT'd. The car will be available for viewing anytime but realistically from mid Jan onwards. If there is genuine interest when I'm away I will accept a deposit until such time we can arrange a viewing. This deposit will be refundable as I'm confident the car is accurately described and the new owner will not be disappointed - so if the car isn't what you expect your deposit will be refunded - no questions asked, but conversly we need to agree the deal, the deposit doesn't give the chance of haggling over the price.
The car needs for nothing - simply own, drive and enjoy. It could be the basis for a race car, track-day car or street racer - it down to the new owner. I've priced the car very competitively and to sell quickly. For sale at the same price as some standard 911SC / 3.2 Carreras and miles below the cost of building a car to the spec that this car is. Similar RSR's are on eBay for £100k - albeit with hotrod engines but do the maths to upgrade this car to the same spec.
I could be interested in a trade - only within eBay rules - but must be something interesting, simply not interested in anything run of the mill.
Happy to answer any questions - best to ask-a-question over the next couple of weeks - I will forward my email and mobile and also forward a link to 116 photos of the car.
Car is located in Lisburn NI, 10 mins from ports and ferry terminals - I have a ramp in my garage at home for easy inspection.
