Description Ford XM Falcon Deluxe (1964) 4D Sedan Manual (2.8L - Carb) Seats

1964 XM Falcon sedan (Deluxe)
Original 170 Pursuit - 2 Speed Fordomatic
Bench seat front
So after much deliberation, it's time to sell my baby. I've owned this XM for 10 years, keeping it in dry storage the whole time. I bought it back in 2005, and as you can see on the last registration sticker, its last rego was in 1980.
In the last 12 months I have stripped it down ready to go on rotisserie, I had full intentions to cut all of the rust out, bare metal and repaint and re-trim. During the process I started to realise that finding the time was a real challenge (I work 2 jobs, kids etc.), so I decided to keep an eye out for another car that had the work done as I kept working on mine. I managed to find one and buy it on the weekend, so unfortunately this one has to go.
Please note: The car has been stripped, all panels off, front and rear screens out and bubble wrapped, all doors, guards, boot and bonnet off. Because of the 12 photo limit, it is hard to show enough, so I'll happily email photos to any interested buyers.
This is a car for someone looking to restore to original or someone wanting to modify.
Let's be clear before I go any further - This car 100% complete original condition except for missing its 170 motor and its radiator (how I bought it, was going to V8 it)
Reason's you'd choose this car to restore over others
The rust:
The rust in my opinion is minimal, and the best part is that its all easy to get at except for the boot section, which would require a hoist or a rotisserie.
This car is for the true restoration enthusiast. If you are handy with a welder and shave ome spare time you could have this back on the road fairly quickly. I didn't have the time and lost interest because of this.
Please remember, she's 50 years old and has been in dry storage since 1980.
If you are genuinely interested please message me your email address and I will send detailed photos of the rust and any other photos you'd like.
If the winning bidder is interstate or some distance away I'm happy to negotiate assisting with freight/transport - but I will charge for my time and travel expenses.
If you want to collect but want the panels put back on I'm happy to discuss prior to bidding. I prefer pickup
Ask questions! I'm happy to answer them.
Please note: You are bidding to buy, not to: inspect/hope you the bank will give you money/swap for a VN commodore/beg the the missus, get divorced over my car
Genuine buyers only please
Contact me prior to bidding - I expect you to contact me directly after the auction - and full payment within 48 hours.
Get yourself a classic Falcon at a bargain price  - They're only going up, it might cost you 50% more if you want another 12 months.
See my feedback - 100% for 9 years - trust that my description is accurate
Happy Bidding!!!
