Description Hillman Super Minx, 1964.

Hillman
Super Minx, 1964.
In it’s original
‘Embassy Black’ colour, this Hillman Minx is in superb showroom condition,
having undergone a £5,500 restoration in July 2012.  The Minx still looks good today, only having
been used on dry sunny days for shows etc.
The meticulous
restoration included the removal of all rust, the immaculate paintwork then being
finished in the bold, striking Embassy black. The car has also had a full
engine rebuild, including the conversion to unleaded cylinder head.  The Super Minx is also fitted with a full
stainless steel exhaust. Along with the car’s documents, there is a DVD of photographs,
which shows the various stages of the restoration.
Combined with
the striking black paintwork, the rich red interior is a real winner!  The Hillman runs and drives superb, with no
issues that need addressing.
The Hillman boasts a very valuable
registration number – 9986 UN, and
will be sold with the car, if the full asking price is paid. The car is MOT’d
until December 2015, and as the Hillman is classed as an ‘Historic
vehicle’, there is no tax payable.
UK delivery is
available, and can be arranged at a cost to the purchaser.
