Description 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible 429CJ Factory Big Block FORD!

1971 Torino GT Conv Factory 429 Cobra Jet, 51,000 orig miles. Factory Big Block Ford,
Only 30 big block Torino conv's were built in 1971, and only 19 where automatics  the car
features C6 automatic transmission Tbar, bucket seats, console, clock, am/fm stereo,
visibility group, laser stripe, magnum 500's,tinted glass, power steering, power brakes and
power windows,Magnum wheels and Power Top in White.

Overall condition is very good.  The Torino is original with all matching numbers.  It will be sold with a roadworthy certificate if required
Paint: – overall, the paint is in very good condition.  It has had an respray some 10 years ago including engine bay and trunk areas. Still presents in very good condition 
Convertible Top (vinyl) roof: – the White vinyl is in good condition – no tears or areas of concern, folds away neatly with red rear vinyl cover it does appear to be original top and cover. 
Panels: – overall, the external panels and doors etc. are straight and clean.  The rear quarters are nice and straight no rust.
The front and rear bumper bars are straight with good chrome. 
The stainless trim, strips, front grill and moulds etc are complete and in overall very nice condition.
The headlights, blinkers and tail lights are in good working condition.
The vehicle does not have any signs of accident damage.  The vehicle appears to have been mechanically well maintained throughout its life and I have serviced it regularly.
The interior is complete and in overall very good condition presents very nicely in Red vinyl with woven inlays.
The seats are complete and fold forward as they should, work well .
The vinyl dash is in good condition and has minor marks on it. no splitting or holes drilled, retains an after market AM/FM radio
The radio works well,  The speakers are good.   The clock works – when it feels like it!  The interior lights all work.
The dash lights and all gauges  all work including the petrol gauge and the windscreen wipers.  The water washer works.
The console is complete and not broken.
The electric windows all work, however, the rear passenger does operate slowly. 
All wiring thruout is original.
The floor carpet is in good condition but slightly sun faded.
The engine is original and all numbers match.   All the hard to find items such as carb , fan shroud, pulleys , and manifolds are all there and correct for 429CJ.
The power steering has had a hoses replaced.  The vacuum system is in working order. It has a twin exhaust system, as original.
The gearbox is original and does leak oil around the pan gasket. It changes smoothly with no noise. The diff is all original with no issues.
The brakes work well and do not have any issues. Front and rear shock absorbers were replaced about 3 years ago.
The tyres and chrome Magnum 500 Rims are in excellent condition
No Rust in Cowl, front floor drivers side has been replaced  when restored.
The Torino Convertible does get driven regularly without any problems.  It drives and handles very nice it is ready to drive, show and enjoy. 
The original sales reciept and owner’s manual is also included.
 I have attempted to and believe I have described the important details of the vehicle.  I am interested in selling the vehicle to someone who is interested in buying and happy to answer questions in that regard.  
HISTORY: It was a feature car at All Fords at Carlisle, The car was originally purchased in
Valley Stream, NY by a woman with the intent of following the Nascar circuit with her
husband. Unfortunately he passed away after purchasing the car and the car sat for many years
The second owner bought the car 1995 with 38,000 miles and spent countless
hours bringing her back to her original glory. The car was in the Miss Senior America parade in
Atlantic City and was featured with the 2008 winner, Miss Tennessee.
Highlights of this well optioned Rare Muscle Car include the original 429CJ Engine, ZERO RUST,

Marti Report, Restoration photos, and original Dealer invoice with all the original sales
