Description Rare American Classic. Buick Le Sabre 1960

Buick Le Sabre
1960 V8 6ltr petrol engine, 4 door hardtop, hardtop being there's no B pillar, so when all windows are wound down you have full viewing access especially with the curved front & rear windscreens, registered last year in the UK after being imported from USA.
Officially registered with DVLA as a 6 seater due to front & rear bench seats fitted as standard. Tax exempt, lots & lots of original chrome & a real eye catcher. This is 1 of 2 in the UK according to www.howmanyleft.co.uk
This car hasn't been mucked about with, engine is original along with all other running gear, I had it imported last year & had it serviced in Sept. Has 69,000 on the clock which I believe to be genuine.
It's a typical 1960 car that was designed in the 50's, so long wings, plenty of chrome & solid. Its a drivers car with none of the flash extras of today, it was classed as a cheap "family" car which was designed to get on the freeway & just keep going across the USA.
2 speed automatic column change gearbox with the foot handbrake & foot light dip switch. Believe me, this car is a head turner on the roads. The V8 just keeps chugging along & has the typical American wallow as you go round the corners. It was built in Michigan but I had it imported from Minnesota, as you'd expect the boot ( trunk) is as long as the bonnet.
Inside I have had the seats recovered in original material direct from The Buick Club in USA, there is a new carpet that came with the car that is now fitted.
I am selling because I am not in the country much now & it is such a shame to leave it sat in garage, needs to be out at shows where it becomes a talking point. I've done several shows whereby it was voted 3rd by the paying public, been in the local paper several times as well along with the Southampton Eastleigh Mayor being photographed in the car.
Car is up for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to pull it from the auction before the end of bidding.
Winning bidder needs to put a deposit of £500 within 24 hours of auction ending & final amount payable on collection please.
