Description Chevrolet : C-10 c10

1969 Chev C-10 Longhorn Truck - Facts:
For 1969, the trucks were given a new look in the front. The hood was given a Bowtie and a steeper front. A bright metal grille with a plastic egg crate style background and "Chevrolet" embossed on the center grille bar was added. The "Longhorn" package was introduced which had an 8 1/2 foot bed. The parking brake was moved to the kick panel and is now foot operated. The 327 cid V8 was replaced by the 350 cid. The trucks have an automatic choke.
This is an 1969 Chev c-10 Longhorn with a box that will fit a sheet of plywood with the tailgate will close!  I restored it and got BC collector plates.  The work was done by me, in my garage.  I am not a professional, but I did the very best I could!  I had a number of friends that were mechanics and car restorers that gave me advice.  I was a member of a car club and got advice and help from follow members.
After warming up, if I stop at a stop light the oil engine light comes on, unless I increase the rpm.  I have been told SBC do 10 lbs @ 1000 RPM so at an idle the engine is doing 700 rpm so it should be 6 to 7 lbs and that is why the light is on.  Others tell me the oil pressure should be 30 lbs at an idle.  I did rebuild the engine about 300 miles ago.
