1965 Cushman Silver Eagle For Sale
Description 1965 Cushman Silver Eagle
You are bidding on a 1965 Cushman Silver Eagle with a clear Illinois title. This Cushman was completely disassembled and restored. Top too bottom, front too back, nothing left untouched. The majority of black parts are powder coated not painted. The rear fender is painted as these were fiberglass fenders. All powder coating was done by Pro-Tek Powder Coating. Check them out at www.protekpowdercoating.com. Power is supplied by a 9 hp OMC engine that was rebuilt by Ed's Cushman Shop in Dalton City, Illinois. It has an original (rebuilt) Carter Model "N" carburetor. The transmission was rebuilt with new gears and seals. There are many chrome parts as can be seen in the pictures. The original wheels have been replaced with 10" solid aluminum wheels with Michelin 120x90x10" tubless directional radial tires. Many new items were installed such as a wiring harness, head light, tail light, wheel bearings, clutch, handlebars, cables, rubber frame and seat mounts and way more. The new parts purchased for this restoration are way too many to list. The horn is original and only works when it wants too. New horns are available from Dennis Carpenter or other Cushman vendors. It has the original speedometer in working condition. Countless hours were spent restoring this 1965 Cushman Silver Eagle. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please contact me.
