Description 1951 Triumph Other

Check with your wife before you bid and make sure that it is OK !!!
You are bidding on a Triumph Race bike that was raced in AHRMA by Gordon Menzie,  The bike was sold at a auction in Las Vegas a number of years ago to a reputable Collector, Restorer,  Bike Builder, then sold to another reputable Collector, Racer , Restorer who also raced the bike in AHRMA before ending up in my collection.  I was going to race it in AHRMA  , but about the time I had it back together, I quit racing, so it has been just sitting in my collection and has been started and run  occasionally,  I had a expert painter ( Jerry Riley ) do a paint job on the tank and fender to set it off.  This bike starts, runs and shifts perfectly and you wont be disappointed in the way it moves out.   It combines the best of many period Triumphs  to use in its class.   It is based on a 1951 Tiger with a 1957 big bearing T100R engine and 1954 or 1955 T110 air scoop front brake.(I thought it was a 55 but had a few people tell me it is a one year only, very rare pie pan front brake from a `54)  This bike also has the VERY RARE FACTORY RACE KIT  TYPE 76 AMALS !!!   Plus Gordon contacted me and let me know that he installed a swing arm transmission because they had a stronger case.   Plus many other period correct parts.   As you can see, I had a Expert fabricator design a mount so that I could use shorter springs on the seat so it wouldn't have as much movement when racing .  I don't check emails all the time so if your serious, it is better to call.  I also have some extra rear sprockets that go with the bike.
Please check my feedback on big items (cars and motorcycles) that I have sold in the past so that you will see that I will not BS you or give you false information.
Serious bidders may call with questions 219-313-9862  Robert
*** I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE*** ebay makes you put something in the space on the listing and there is not a no title option.    I will give winning bidder a notarized bill of sale
I included a picture of Menzie in one of the books titled Triumph racing motorcycles in America. I will include the book to Winning bidder
PLEASE scroll down and read the following revisions
I have had a couple of phone calls questioning the fabricated seat holder so that I could use shorter springs, they are bolted in place and nothing was welded on frame  !!!     I also have the pillion pad for the rear fender, I just liked the way it looked without it ,so I didn't put it on, but it is included in the sale. I have added an additional photo.
I just received some more information from Gordon Menzie , he informed me that he installed a swing arm transmission on this bike  because they had a much stronger case. see questions at the bottom of listing. Below is a question and answer from Gordon Menzie from previous listing:
Q: " If I remember
correctly I installed a swing arm transmission in this bike which has a much
stronger case and made new rear motor mounts.......check it out... won a lot of
races with this bike........ Best ......Gordon Menzie May-22-15"
A:   "Thank you for the
information !!! I`m so glad you responded to the listing , I have had a few
phone calls asking me if I had any documentation that I could provide to prove
that this was one of your bikes ! I did not have the pleasure to race it but I have
rode it and it still runs and shifts perfectly, You did a great job building
this bike. As well as being a great racer ! Best regards...Robert"
