1978 KAWASAKI Z650 B2 For Sale

I bought this 5 years ago from a bloke who was using it as a field bike. Was nearly on it's way to the scrap yard.


Work done to date :


Frame and swing arm powder coated. 
New rear wheel with original hub polished 
Tank,side panels and tail section painted by professional car repair centre.
Original badges cleaned and hand painted.
Original seat re covered by professional upholsterer.
New rear shocks fitted.
New front mudguard.
New steering bearings fitted.
New fork seals and dust covers fitted.
New Renthal bars fitted.
New clutch and brake lever fitted.
New controls fitted.
New electronic speed,tacho and instrument indicator.
New clutch and throttle cables.
New brake pads front and rear.
New chain and sprockets.
New chrome filler cap for petrol tank.
New indicators.
New Motad 4 into 1 exhaust.
Second hand petrol cock fitted. New seals. Vacuum type.


Engine block honed and fitted with new rings.
Valves re ground.
New valve stem seals fitted.
New cam chain.
New cam chain tensioner and cam guide wheels.
New primary chain Clutch reconditioned with new friction plates.
Clutch cushioning rubbers have been replaced with new sourced from Australia. All carburetors have new original jets and seals fitted.
Power filters removed and replaced with original air box and filter.
Bike has electronic ignition.
New alternator stator and coil fitted.
New battery.


Bike runs well for a 38 year old machine !
Comfortable to ride and handles well.
This bike has hardly been used since the engine work and would benefit from a good run. 


Please note there are a couple of small cracks on the rear tail section. These may need touching up in the future.
