Description Honda CB125S SuperSports 1975

Regrettably, it's time to pass on my beautiful Honda CB125S, which has clocked up only 15,000 miles in 40 years. I would absolutely love to hold on to it, but unfortunately I only have one parking space and have just passed my Direct Access test, so its time for a bigger machine.
This is a very rare UK model, with original tax disks from the 70s. I purchased the bike from an enthusiast last year, who had rebuilt the bike in 2008 (lots of receipts for clutch, gaskets, new cylinder etc), with parts from David Silver, the classic Honda parts specialist. The previous owner only rode the bike 80 miles between 2008 and 2012, as evident in the MOT paperwork. I've put on quite a few miles since I've had the bike, mostly on longer country lane trips and occasionally city commutes. It recently sailed though a 1000 mile round trip of the UK without skipping a beat.
Since I have had the bike, I decided to attach some Renthal Low Bars for a slightly more sports riding position, but without compromising comfort. I then upgraded the throttle with a Domino unit for better response and have had the electrical system revamped at a cost of £300 to make sure that the bike was constantly reliable. It always starts on first or second kick from cold, I've never needed to use the choke. The bike has always lived under a cover and the oil changed religiously. I also have a Haynes manual and a bag of spares to go with the bike.

Now the bad bits:

- The bike does have a bit of rust on the exhaust, but replacements are readily available from David Silver and can be had for as little as £30.
- There are a few paint chips and bits of rust here and there, but as to be expected from a 40 year old bike
- The seat is a bit tatty, but can be replaced very inexpensively.

I know how important it is to be reassured of the mechanical integrity of a classic bike, so like the gentleman who sold me the bike I will put on a years fresh MOT for the buyer.

The bike is currently located near London Fields in Hackney, and I'll be more than happy to arrange a viewing, please PM me for more details.

Shipping can be arranged, please get in touch to discuss further. Cash on collection preferred.
