1972 Mazda RX3 Sedan Genuine NOT 808 For Sale

For Sale is my ORIGINAL 1972 10a rx3 Sedan. This
is not an 808, it is an origianl rx3.
It has the factory RX3 "L" Fuel Tank, I has all its original RX3
compliance plates with matching VIN stamped into the car in the factory place.
It has all RX3 exhaust brackets and mounts, as well as the full factory RX3
interior. It had the original Mazda RX3 10a gearbox mounts (which were removed
to install the current gearbox). I have photos of the mounts on the car before
removal.
The car is a driving club registered vehicle with all electricals and
mechanical workings correctly. Below is a list of all mods, enhancements etc.
Engine / Mechanical (Working from the front of the car to the rear):
Brand new JDM 12A Turbo engine. (For those who
know their rotary stuff, this is a very very rare motor.) It has been freshly
rebuilt and literally has about 10 km's on it.
RX7 Series 5 turbo front impellor housing.
The motor has also been mild ported.
It is controlled by a Microtech MT4 computer
which comes with hand controller for tuning etc.
Mazda RX7 Series 4/5 Front Brakes.
Willwood pedal box with hidden fluid reservoirs.
Adjustable struts tops front suspension
Mazda RX7 series 2 5 speed gearbox.
Brand new custom made drive shaft.
Toyota Hilux diff with freshly rebuild center.
Interior:
The interior of the car presents extremely well. It has no stereo in it. Given
that i am selling it, i have decided to leave this desicion to the new owner. I
couldnt bring myself to cut holes in the door trims for speakers. You may be OK
with that.
The interior has been fully retrimmed in Phil
Rotary RX3 trim with logos in headrests.
All new roof lining.
Correct Mazda RX3 full height door trims.
Mint condition original Mazda RX3 steering wheel
(no crack or anything)
Mint condition original Mazda RX3 4 speed gear
stick knob.
Custom milled gearstick extension (RX7 S2
gearticks are very short!)
All new carpets
Heater works like a dream for those cold winter
days.
Front seat belts have been upgraded to RX3 12a
retractable seat belts rather than the original Sash style.
Exterior and Body:
Car has been repainted in Nissan Pulsar SSS circa early 90's. The car was
painted about 6 years ago by the previous owner and has not been on the road
since. There is no rust in the body and the exterior presents very well.

What does the car need?
You need to keep in mind this is a car built in 1972. It is not a modern
car. Having said that, it is in excellent condition. If you are fussy, the car
would probably benefit from a Dyno Tune. I have done a street tune on it, and
it runs smoothly, but Dyno Tune's always squeeze that little bit more out of
it. The car also needs to have a final wheel alignment and camber adjustment done.
If I was going to keep it I wasn't convinced I was going to keep the wheels that
are currently on it, so I never got round to doing a final alignment etc. So
you will need to do this.
I hate to say this, but I'm not going to entertain time wasters. There are a
few points and notes to make regarding the sale of the car. People who contact
me offering silly (disrespectful) amounts will simply be ignored. I am a
genuine and decent seller, and id like to deal with a buyer who is the same. I
don't want to hear from people who still have to sell things to fund the purchase
of this car.

I am open to trades for tow vehicles. I need to tow my 3.5 ton boat. Im very
open to a swap for Range Rover, Landcruiser or Lexus LX470.
Test drives will be on a purchase basis only. IE: You have agreed to
purchase the car and the only condition is that it drives. I will not be
permitting test drives to tyre kickers, and I will pick you from a mile away.
Test drives will not be permitted on wet / rainy days.....period.
